Leia Week 61: Camp Grandparents in Hunter - 8/27/2014

Leia turned 14 months old this week, and had a blast spending it with her Transue grandparents and uncles. After a fantastic Kraines Wedding Weekend at the Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe, VT, we headed back to Josh's old stomping grounds of GMVS for a little quality time with Uncle Wormie. Then we had another long hall back to NY to Gram Gram, Grandpa, and Uncle Cody. Leia had a blast playing with everyone, and espcially loved their fun yard, great toys, and the two HUGE newfies who wouldn't stop kissing her. Leia's big milestone for the week was that she started imitating us. She wanted to push the stroller rather than sit in it. And she started swaddling up her baby doll and monkey in blankets or sleep sacs and singing them to sleep. It was soooo cute!

Loving her new snack cup from Gram Gram.

Talking on Uncle Worm's phone.

Trying to play with Uncle Worm and Crosby, but it turned out that Crosby doesn't play nice with babies.

Pushing the stroller around the yard and down the street.

That is one very determined girl.

Showing off her pretty new dress.

Always need to make time for a little golf practice if you plan to make the PGA.

Found this purse and knew exactly how to carry it and loved doing so. How she figured that out, I have no clue because no one in our house uses one!

Found her favorite thing while playing on the porch with Gram Gram...a baby size chair!

She talks and talks and cracks herself up...wish I knew what was so funny!

Hiking at Hunter with Grandpa.

Trying out her new floaty suit.

Water games are fun!

Incredible balance!

Our little pro surfer!

She was having such a blast standing up, balancing, and dancing on her boogie board!

Running leap into Dad's arms!

Sumo squats.

Swaddling her new baby Moysha, then rocking and singing her to sleep...so cute!

Moysha Moysha Moy even had her own little bed.

Always fun to practice putting on Dad's hat!

Gotta love that fabulous smile!

Out shopping with her purse and her baby...she seems to be an old pro at this already!

So gentle while handling Bany Moysha Moysha Moy (who she named all by herself, by the way).

No caption needed...

Apparently Leia loves eating huge submarine sandwiches now!

Taking the Skyride to the top of the mountain.

So fun to be up high and see all the cool things on the mountains!

Pretty view of Hunter on the way down.

It was a fun ride for all.

Found more fun stools to climb on!

The proud Transue Family.

Our little family!

I love you Gram Gram!

Another favorite pastime: moving rocks from A to B!

Tally ho, let's go!

And she's on the run!

She runs so fast now!

Playing with Dad in the hammock.

So many fun things to see and do in ths yard!

Really a beautiful place to relax!

Learning how to rake and hoe the garden.

Antique trucks!

Hanging with the grandparents = a little extra R&R for mom and dad.

Faster Grandpa, faster!

Aha, she figured out she's taller than Roo if she stands up in the wagon!

Family snuggles.

Running away from Bettis and his incessant kisses!
