Leia Week 23: Lange Family Thanksgiving - 12/4/2013

Well, for the first time in a very long time, the Lange's actually celebrated Thanksgiving on the actual holiday. And, it was the first time ever celebrating at my parents house in Squaw. Food was all delicious, of course, and dairy/nut free for me and Leia! Per usual, the evening was a family photo shoot for Christmas cards and presents, hence the many photos below!

For some reason, this was her new favorite game...couldn't stop laughing and laughing!

Leia and Poppy.

This one is just not too sure about kisses yet!

She is one loved grandchild!

Always a fun adventure to crawl around Poppy's lap.

Fun doing stand-ups with Nana.

Now that's a pair of pretty smiles!

Having so much fun she's about to burst!

Leia was as surprised as John to find herself in his arms for about the third time ever!

Little party girl wanted her own glass!

Family portrait...Happy Holidays from the Lange's!

And now for the spread...3 different kinds of stuffing and sweet potato latkes.

Turkey two ways, cranberry sauce, and pomegranate relish...yum!

Hunch back of Notre Dame in her Mexican dress.

"The hills are alive with the sound of music...."

Steelers losing...BORING!

First of many Daddy rides!

Nana loves watching her baby eat.

Sitting with Poppy and eating real silver...does it get any better?

Endless fun with spoons.

LOVE and cuddles.

Snowy walks with Daddy are not as fun as sunny ones!

Beep beep! Look out, she's on the move!

When she learned to roll over on her tummy in bed, she also learned that she sleeps in a jail!

The Scout was in its first ever car show, hosted at Squaw.

Lots of cool classic 4x4's to check out.

Still lookin' pretty good, and she might make it on TV! Chasing Classic Cars on Feb 4th...

Leia The Movie Star

So I've held off on posting any of the video footage that we've taken of Leia over the last 6 months in the hopes of creating an edited movie that might be more interesting to watch.  It was a lot harder than I thought and took a long time, but I have finally persevered!  This first movie has footage from when Princess Zelda Sopritti Transue was still in utero and kicking through her birth and transformation into Princess Leia Marian Transue.  Of course there is still a lot of more current footage you all will want to see, but you'll have to stay tuned for our next production!  For now, please enjoy the show:

Leia Week 22: Leia Turns 5 Months! - 11/27/2013

The biggest news of the week is that Leia turned 5 months old! I probably say this every month, but time sure is flying and I can't believe how big she is! She's starting to get more comfortable on her tummy and occasionally rolling over. She still loves standing and dancing the most. Other than that, we just did a lot of fun photo shoots of our little cutie pie.

Fun new toys!

Hi Dad!

I love jumping!

Another new toy from Daddy...he spoils her rotten!

Our 5 month old little flower is blooming.

Smile, it's my birthday!

Cute face!

It's fun to be happy!

Look at me, I'm standing by myself!

Still standing...

Roaming the neighborhood with Dad.

You're not funny right now Dad.

Bathing in the big girl tub!

Baths are serious business...she concentrates very hard on doing her kicks.

My little baby!

So cute snuggling in her towel.

She loves looking at herself in the camera.

Leia's towel model shot...makes me smile:)

Leia Week 21: Gram Gram and Grandpa Come Visit! - 11/20/2013

Leia was a very lucky girl this week to have her Gram Gram, Grandpa, and Great Grandma Viv come out to visit.  They had lots of fun adventures, like walks, trips to the lake, swimming, playing with dogs, and good old fashioned cuddle time.  We also celebrated an early Thanksgiving with a delicious smoked Turkey by Josh.

Fun airplane flaying games with Grandpa.

Gram Gram hugs!

That's a big smile!

Playing in the gym with Grandma Viv.

Now this looks like a fun toy!

She just loves trying to drink out of other people's glasses more than anything else!

Wow, somehow she grew into these cute overalls without me even noticing...and I thought they were so big!

These pesky socks will not stop me from getting my toe in my mouth...

Ah ha, gotcha big toe!

Just too cute!

More play time with Dad.

And enough that's enough of that!

More fun dress up days in my new clothes from Auntie Zeena!

Almost doesn't need help with her bottle anymore!

So many laughs and smiles!

Ready to try out her new bathing suit!

Fun swimming with Grandpa!

Our little Water Snake still loves her pool time!

Is the water that fun or is this guy just funny?!

Never misses an opportunity to eat that foot!

Leia couldn't stop laughing at the game of Tug-o-War with Gram Gram and Kishka!
Happy girl.

Starting to learn that dogs are funny.

So much laughing, it was amazing!

Trip to Lake Tahoe.

Lookin' stylie in her Big Truck Hat.

I know this picture is blurry, but the Cheshire Cat Grin at being able to suck on Megan's glass makes me laugh every time!

Don't worry Grandpa, it's Sunday and I'm in uniform!
