Pumpkin Carving Mania

John, Stacia, Sherry, and Ayla joined Josh and me for a fun night of pumpkin carving to prepare for Halloween. Ayla said no scarry pumpkins, so we had all funny faces and pretty princesses. It was a really fun night, and I haven't enjoyed carving pumpkins so much in a long time.

Ayla was not to psyched about taking out the pumpkin guts and getting her hands all icky!

The pumpkin carvers: Stacia, Sherry, Ayla, and Katharine.

Sherry and John enjoying some hearty stew...yum!

Ayla, Josh, and Stacia are all smiles after a successful night of pumpkin carving (actually, Josh and Ayla are smiling because they got to wear their matching footie pajamas all night)!!

A warm, happy Kishka cuddling in the down jacket.

The pretty princess...such a cutie!

John and his little puppy enjoying some smooches.

And the final products...Josh did such a good job with the pretty princess and her horse, and I did the silly face.

Much cooler in the dark...

...isn't she a pretty princess?

And after tons of pumpkin carving for everyone else, we finally got around to doing our own...

Turns out Josh really is a master pumpkin carver...so cool!
