Leia Week 86: A Little Valentines Bling - 2/18/2015

Leia's memory has started to absolutely blow us away!  She picks up on even the littlest things and brings it up days later.  It is so crazy.  She has also started to say "I love you" back to us!  This is really cool, because of course we've been telling her "I love you" since she was born, but for her to figure out how and when to say it back...it melts your heart!  We took her up the Funitel to the top of the mountain this week to watch Daddy's athletes race, and man was she blown away!  She loved the ride up, and then was a little overwhelmed with all the terrain and wanted to be picked up rather than ski.  But after we found Daddy and had a picnic on the side of the course, she was feeling much more comfortable, and so when we took a few runs (down to Gold Coast and down Links) she was so fired up about the speed and the new adventure.  She's also loving to help Mommy clean up messes around the house, so that's a great help for me!  Also, this week was a holiday week, so school was closed on Monday, and I had to work a bunch of races over the weekend.  Nana was out of town, so Leia had 3 big days with her Poppy.  Man did she have a blast...hanging out with Poppy is so much fun, I didn't hear the end of it.  And even better news, Poppy had 3 great days with Leia because for once she didn't fight him on any diaper changes, and even requested to have her diaper changed one time...that never happens!!  All in all, a very successful week with a kid who is maturing into a really fun, incredibly brilliant, and very advanced little girl!

Happy Valentine's Day from Leia!
