Shana Comes to Tahoe 12/1/11-12/3/11

My cousin Shana made her way up to Tahoe last weekend for a little visit. She was here the last two summers for Lange weddings, but she's never been here in the winter, and was looking forward to some "Western Skiing." Well, we went skiing alright, but with only one run of icy man-made snow open, it was really much more like the Eastern skiing she was used to. Oh well, we told her she'd just have to come back in February! We used up all our desire to make ski runs on Friday, so on Saturday we hit the Rim Trail for a great hike over looking Tahoe. And then home again for some more of Chef Josh's crazy creations!

Josh putting the final touches on a Viennese Salt Crusted Chicken dish. He covered the whole thing in this crazy salt-meringue type substance for baking, and then cracked it all off at the end. Yummy!
