Josh and I headed back east at the beginning of September. We started in Johnstown, PA to see his grandparents and extended family, then we headed to Hunter, NY to see his parents and the house he grew up in (my first time seeing it!), and then we continued to Philly and then Mass, but more posts on those trips to come later... Anyway, the Transue's place in Hunter was very cool. Got some pictures of the yard to document all the hard work Josh and his brothers have done over the years to comb the woods, picking up sticks and stones, and making the yard pretty enough for Bruce. We also got to go on the Hunter Mountain Zip Line, which was awesome. And other than that it was pretty relaxing because it pretty much rained the whole time!
Looking back at the house.
They have a very inviting yard with pretty flowers, fountains, and a comfy hammock. Unfortunately it was too wet to really enjoy all it had to offer.

Don't we look so cool in our safety helmets!?

Looking down the line of our first zip. There were 6 zips total, but this was the highest and longest!
Bruce comming in hot!
Katharine preparing to zip.
A look back up at how high that first zip really was!
Bruce walking across the wobbly suspension bridge.
Then there was a huge thunderstorm and we had to stop zipping and take cover!
They wouldn't let us zip in the lightning, but they didn't seem to mind that we all took cover under a METAL grate!
The storm passed after about 45 minutes, and then we got to finish the zip tour. Here's a video of Josh and I in tandom.
