We headed up to Graeagle last week with my parents for a few days of early season discount golf. The first day we played at Nakoma (a.k.a. the Dragon), which is a fantastic course that went out of business several years ago. However, someone bought it up and is trying again. Lucky for us the word isn't really out there yet because we had the place to ourselves and the price was right! And then, low and behold, Josh got a hole in one on a Par 3 on the back nine! It was crazy and awesome, and my dad and I both witnessed. Talk about a great way to end a great day on the links!! Day 2 wasn't as great. We played at Graeagle Meadows, where we like the course but have concluded after several years of patronage that the owners/pros/staff etc. are not nice and make the day rather unpleasant. Plus they charge $20 per person for a cart...talk about a rip off!! Definitely not the best deal, but still a great day of golf and the course was in good shape and fun to play.
