Big week for the Transues...our first full week of having two children! Leia absolutely adores her little sister, and always wants to see her and hold her. "I wuv her!" But she's not yet ready to share everything...we are not allowed to change Arwyn's diaper on her changing table! Leia has regressed a little as well. She's reverted to a bit of baby talk, she's not quite as coordinated, and the whining and tantrums have increased. She loves all of us, but she's unhappy with life and doesn't know why. Clearly it's a jealous reaction, but I'm just glad she doesn't realize it's all because of Arwyn...it's better that she just keeps loving her.
Arwyn, on the other hand, is a very easy baby so far! Leia was really easy for the first two weeks as well, so I'm not holding my breath, but I'll take easy as long as I can get it! She basically never cries. When she's hungry she just starts clicking and licking her lips, even in the middle of the night. It's enough to wake me up, so I feed her before she gets upset. She (like Leia) doesn't seem to be bothered by dirty diapers. And she's sleeping well at night. She seems to go for a pretty good 4-5 hour stretch. I'm having to wake her up during the day to eat, but at night I'm just taking advantage! And she seems very chill and tolerant of Leia's love/abuse...doesn't cry from excessive petting and sleeps through all the loud talking and screaming.
The main trauma in our house this week was the awful 24 hour stomach flu that has gone through every member of our extended and immediate family. Let me tell you, it's not fun to take care of a sick Daddy on top of a newborn and a toddler. But it's even worse to be sick yourself and still have to function to breastfeed 24 hours a day! Thank goodness it was just a bit over 24 hours.

I love you Daddy!
You can't tell me that these two don't have any fun together!
Big shout out to this awesome Dad for the great job he did holding down the house while I was sick...not easy with a toddler who misses her Mommy, but busting out the slip 'n slide, now that's Ninja skills!

Wants to be swaddled and cuddled just like Arwyn...
This is what we call a Burrito Super Grande!
