Leia had her first solid food at the age of 6.5 months, directly after getting the go-ahead from her doctor. Josh was so excited to start feeding that we didn't even wait to buy anything special, just went with something we had in the house…bananas! She was so excited about the whole prospect that I'm not sure she even tasted the food until a little later, when she wasn't too sure if she actually liked it. In the end she did, and bananas are still one of her absolute favorites.
