Leia Week 14: Already 3 Months Old! - 10/2/2013

This was a very busy week for the Transue family.  Leia turned 3 months old, she started earning her keep by helping with the cooking, she had her first pseudo camping trip at Sawmill Lake (it was pretty chilly so we didn't actually spend the night), and most importantly, we got our new DSLR camera! This camera takes the most beautiful photos, and in he process of learning how house it, we have completely over-documented this week of life! Oh well, thats good news for Leia fans...enjoy!

Leia in mitten prison to stop her from eating her hands raw!

Oh yeah, love this fast shutter speed...catching the happy girl mid-puke!

Ooops, sorry mom!

Lovin' life in her jumparoo!

Look at that face!

Who could resist her?

Paparazzi in full effect here!

Look who's 3 months old today!

So many cool new camera settings to play with.

Leia was a big fan of this fun little sleeping cap we found in the dresser.

Oh no, she's turning onto stone!
These two are demonstrating multitasking at its best...alternating between their games and their Sports Center.

She didn't waste any time in finding her optimal couch lounging position!

Our little family.

Josh was working on his scenic shots with the new camera.

With all the stopping for photos, she got a little bored.

Family walk along the Squaw Valley meadow.

Birthday bath and birthday suit at 3 months old.

Kelly and her little lamb.

Leia was very impressed with Daddy's fancy knife work...front row seats!

Sawmill Lake camping trip for Uncle John's birthday.

Taking a stroll down by the lake.

Staying warm in her fuzzy Northface fleece on a chilly fall day.

The lake views were gorgeous and we had the place to ourselves.

Trying to protect our delicate white skin.

What's up Calvin and Hobbs?

Sierra Buttes in the background.

I think that could be a good children's book: "The Adventures of the Yellow Umbrella"!

Just such a pretty day!

Chillin' with Dad.

Aunt Stacia and Uncle John kickin' back lakeside.

Uncle Ryan always knows the best way to relax.

Happy Birthday Uncle John.

Our lakeside camp ground.

Chilly day means an early campfire!

Leia definitely loved her first camping experience.

Snooging out of the bumbo.

She absolutely loves this toy!

Finally put baby to work in the kitchen to earn her keep.  Looks like she's inheriting her father's chef skills!

Fun dinner party with Auntie Sarah.

Josh #1 and Josh #2...either way, Leia's got them all wrapped around her little finger!

Yay friends, it's been too long!

Showing off her dance moves.

Always pondering on life.

Favorite new horsy jams!

Mom, I'm naked here, don't take pictures! I've got my dignity to protect!

All ready for a pretty fall hike up Shirley Canyon.

Dad definitely gives the best rides!

Fast asleep and missing all the views.

Happy to be outdoors!
