I'm engaged!!! Josh popped the question on New Year's Eve while we were out having an awesome ski day. I was a little suspicious when he asked me to take "one more run with him before lunch" because when does that ever happen?? He took me up to a vista point on the top of Red Dog Ridge, and after a quick self portrait of us, he got down on his knee in the powder, pulled out his grandmother's ring, and said: "Will you make me the happiest man in the world by starting off the new year as my fiance? Will you marry me?" The tears and the yes came out at the same time! So the whole gang was waiting for us down at The Chammy to celebrate, and the celebrations went on from there. Next stop, party at the Rygg's Bootery. And a whole crew rolled into town for the occation...Kent and Judy Adams from Wisconson, Ben Kraines from NYC, Erika Larson from LA, Todd Cooper, Mary, and Ryan Rygg from SF, Sabrina and Markus from Berkeley, and of course the usual suspects from Tahoe! What a great way to bring in the new year, and it was a full Blue Moon to boot...lucky us!! Happy 2010 everyone!
