It took a little to adjust to the fact that her grandparents weren't going to be there every day when she woke up anymore, and that Mommy and Daddy were back in charge with their lame rules, but things are normalizing for all of us. Except for one thing...thanks to Grandma, Leia actually likes to have her hair up in half-pony tails now and doesn't try to rip them out right away. But now I barely recognize my little baby, she's looks more like a little girl! Of course it's super cute and helps get her hair out of her eyes, but it's so sad that my little girl is getting bigger! Her language skills are also exploding out of control! She is starting to have full on conversations, and she just loves to talk and talk and talk. She makes "phone calls" to people and tells them everything she's doing, and she especially loves to talk about her babies and what they need and what's she's doing for them (time for this food or that bottle, or they need milk or kisses because they are crying, etc). It might not sound like a lot, but it's a lot of 3-4 word sentences and more complex ideas...not to mention the shear volume of language. So cute to listen to, and very impressive!

Started my 3rd Trimester (27 Weeks here) cram session to get back in shape for labor with my first hike up Palisades for the season...exhausting but great skiing!
Leia doesn't like to leave school anymore. She prefers to sit in the sun behind this utility box and have a picnic with her leftover lunch.
